Cerebral infarction is a disease state caused by acute occlusion of blood vessels, a result of which the factors leading to thrombosis do not disappear as a result of cerebral infarction, and therefore, a disease that is very prone to recurrence. Existing studies show that the risk of recurrent stroke in patients with cerebral infarction is 9 times higher than that of the general population, and the recurrence rate of patients with cerebral infarction in China reaches 16% within 1 year and up to 50% within 5 years, and the rate of disability and death from recurrence is higher. The survey shows that the 30-d recurrence rate of patients with atherosclerotic thrombotic stroke is the highest, at 18.5%. Therefore, the recurrence rate within 1 year after cerebral infarction is very high and must be given sufficient attention to take active secondary prevention measures to reduce the recurrence rate. At present, various preventive measures for recurrence of cerebral infarction have not been effectively implemented in China, and it is for this reason that the recurrence rate in China is relatively high. Modern medicine proposes a variety of preventive measures such as blood pressure control, blood sugar, lipid lowering and anti-platelet aggregation, and the comprehensive use of various preventive measures and the adoption of individualized prevention programs have significantly reduced the recurrence of cerebral infarction, so as long as standardized treatment, there is no need to worry excessively, and cerebral infarction can still be prevented and treated. Therefore, although the recurrence rate after cerebral infarction is very high, scientific preventive measures can still reduce recurrence events to a large extent. The key to prevention is to control various risk factors, improve lifestyle, accept the guidance of professional doctors and scientific prevention in order to stay away from cerebral infarction and the trouble of recurrence.
