Is low-grade intraepithelial neoplasia of tubular adenoma of the colon serious?

Low-grade intraepithelial neoplasia of colonic tubular adenomas is not serious but requires attention. Clinically, the prognosis of adenomas is usually judged according to the proportion of chorionic component in adenomas and the heterogeneity of cells. 1. The proportion of choriocapillaris in adenomas: <25% for tubular adenomas, 25-75% for tubular choriocapillaris adenomas, >75% for choriocapillaris adenomas. The study table shows that the higher the proportion of choriocapillaris component, the faster the proliferation, often accompanied by high-grade intraepithelial neoplasia and carcinoma. 2. Heterogeneity of cell nuclei (1) Low-grade: the adenoepithelial cells are mildly to moderately heterogeneous, the lesions are mild, and the tumor can be removed by medication or surgery, the prognosis is good, and regular checkups can be paid attention to after surgery to prevent recurrence. (2) High-grade: high-grade heterotrophic hyperplasia with structural disorders of the gland, accompanied by severe atypical hyperplasia, which is susceptible to cancerous transformation if not treated effectively. Therefore, early surgical removal of the mass is recommended. When the diagnosis is low-grade intraepithelial neoplasia of colonic tubular adenoma, it should receive timely treatment with good prognosis.
