TCT test is normal and in most cases, cervical biopsy is not necessary, but there are some special cases where TCT test is recommended to be combined with HPV test in order to improve the screening rate and improve the diagnostic compliance rate of the screening to avoid missing cervical lesions. There are more than 160 subtypes of HPV, 14 of which are closely related to cervical cancer, and in 99.7% of cervical cancer lesions, high-risk HPV infection is found. TCT is normal, and if HPV is type 16 and 18, a cervical biopsy is needed to completely rule out cervical lesions.
