Yellowing and darkening of vision may be caused by cataract, central plasma choroidopathy or retinitis pigmentosa.
1. Cataract: Cataract occurs most often in the elderly, due to the gradual aging of the lens, protein denaturation, lens transmission decreases, clouding, patients may experience vision loss, darkening of vision, contrast sensitivity decreases and other uncomfortable symptoms.
2. Centralized plasma choroidal retinopathy: Patients with centralized plasma choroidal retinopathy may experience macular edema due to choroidal leakage, and may experience discomfort such as darkening and distortion of vision.
3. Retinitis pigmentosa: Due to the abnormal function of photoreceptor cells caused by heredity and other reasons, retinitis pigmentosa is caused, and the patients may also have symptoms such as narrowing of field of vision and poor night vision.
