Do you get acne if you sweat a lot?

Pimples are generally referred to as acne. Frequent sweating does not cause acne, and the occurrence of acne is related to other factors.
Acne is a chronic inflammatory disease that occurs on the head, face, back, and forehead, and is often characterized by pimples, papules, pustules, or nodules, and in severe cases, cysts or scars may form, accompanied by seborrhea.
Acne may be associated with abnormal androgen levels, proliferation of Propionibacterium acnes, exuberant sebaceous gland secretion, abnormal keratinization of hair follicle cells, medication irritation, and poor dietary and lifestyle habits. Frequent sweating does not usually lead to acne.
However, if sweating is caused by prolonged exposure to high temperatures, the hot environment and sweat stimulation may lead to itching and other uncomfortable symptoms on the skin.
Although frequent sweating does not cause acne, patients should pay attention to personal hygiene and wash in time.
