What should I pay attention to when having a tubal iodography?

Tubal iodography is generally used to check whether the woman’s fallopian tubes are open and to check whether there are morphological abnormalities in the uterine cavity. Before having the test, you need to have your period for 1 to 5 days, no intercourse, and come to the hospital for routine leucorrhoea, preoperative 4 tests, and routine blood tests, etc. In our hospital, tubal iodine oil angiography is examined from Monday to Friday, so there is no examination on Saturday and Sunday, so please arrange a good time. The procedure usually takes about 15 to 20 minutes, plus the time for examination and laboratory tests, so the procedure usually takes at least an hour, so you should arrive at the hospital before 2:30 pm, otherwise you will not have enough time on that day. If the test goes well, the results will be available the same day and you can show the doctor the report. In addition, before having a tubal iodography, the male partner should have a semen test to make sure that the male partner’s semen test is normal. It is also important to rule out other causes of infertility in the female partner, such as ovulation disorders.
