Bacterial culture is a method used clinically for the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases, and is divided into two categories: aerobic and anaerobic cultures. It is often used clinically for patients with high fever or suspected bacteraemia and sepsis, as well as a treatment method for patients with corresponding intravenous or arterial placement. Through the blood culture of sensitive bacteria, the corresponding sensitive antibiotics are selected to give symptomatic treatment, which can shorten the course of treatment and accelerate the recovery of the patient.
