Usually, vitamin B12 is not used to treat dizziness.
There are many causes of dizziness, and common non-disease factors include traveling by car, boat, etc. Disease factors include high blood pressure, heart disease, insufficient cerebral blood supply, cerebral infarction, Meniere’s syndrome, cervical spondylosis and so on. Dizziness should be diagnosed early, and then targeted treatment.
The main indication for vitamin B12 is megaloblastic anemia. Vitamin B12 is a water-soluble vitamin that plays a key role in maintaining the normal function of the brain, nervous system and blood flow formation. It is not indicated for the treatment of dizziness in the absence of a clear cause of dizziness.
Adverse reactions to vitamin B12 tablets include hypokalemia and hyperuricemia; occasional rash and itching when vitamin B12 injection is administered intramuscularly. Vitamin B12 is contraindicated in allergic persons, and used with caution in patients with Lieber’s disease.
Vitamin B12 should be used under medical supervision. If adverse reactions occur, seek medical attention.
