Precautions after tubal angiography

A tubal imaging test can clearly diagnose whether or not there is a blockage in the fallopian tubes and exactly which section is blocked. However, a tubal imaging is an invasive test that can be harmful to a woman’s body. Therefore, there are many things to pay attention to after the test. For example, no sex for 2 weeks after the test, no strenuous exercise or heavy physical labor, no cold and spicy food, no drinking and no staying up late, and a series of other precautions. During tubal imaging, iodine contrast is injected into the woman’s abdomen and tubes are placed in the uterine cavity, so there is a certain impact on the woman’s uterine cavity, so if you have intercourse too early afterwards, it may lead to serious bacterial infection, which may cause serious consequences such as infertility of the uterine cavity adhesions. If you do strenuous physical exercise or heavy physical labor, the wounds in the uterine cavity may be opened and cause heavy bleeding. In case of alcohol consumption, alcohol can reach the uterine cavity through blood circulation, thus affecting the recovery process of the uterine cavity. Adequate sleep can help the uterus to heal. A tubal imaging test can be performed if tubal blockage is found and can be treated by laparoscopic surgery.
