Symptoms of left-sided adnexitis

Left-sided adnexitis generally refers to left-sided tubo-ovarianitis, which is a kind of pelvic inflammatory disease in women. The common clinical symptoms are as follows: First, there is painful swelling in the left lower abdomen, which may be mild in the early stage of the disease, but if the disease is not treated in time and develops gradually, there may be severe painful swelling in the left lower abdomen. Secondly, there is a possibility of fever, which is low in the early stage and without timely anti-inflammatory treatment, women may develop high fever with chills and loss of appetite. Then, there may be a purulent vaginal discharge, and a large number of white blood cells and pus cells may be seen in a routine white blood test. If adnexitis is diagnosed on the left side, anti-inflammatory treatment must be given actively, using cephalosporin anti-inflammatory drugs with metronidazole or tinidazole.
