Is dizziness a novel coronavirus infection?

Dizziness does not necessarily mean that you have a novel coronavirus infection, but should be diagnosed on a case-by-case basis. Dizziness is a common symptom and can be caused not only by infectious diseases, but also by transportation, alcohol, and overuse of the brain. Novel coronaviruses mainly cause pneumonia and upper respiratory tract infections, with symptoms such as fever, malaise, dry cough, and dizziness. If there is no history of travel to the infected area or contact with related people, there is no need to be overly alarmed if only dizziness is present. However, if you have been to an infected area or have been in contact with related people and have dizziness accompanied by fever, dry cough and other symptoms of upper respiratory tract infection, you should go to the hospital to confirm the diagnosis in a timely manner.
