According to the current guidelines of colon cancer treatment, chemotherapy combined with targeted therapy is very effective. Nowadays, the treatment of colon cancer with chemotherapy combined with targeted is mainly for advanced stage colon cancer. For post-operative colon cancer patients, the use of targeted drugs is generally not recommended. Because after the target point disappears, the targeted drugs are basically useless. Nowadays, chemotherapy combined with or without targeted therapy is mainly used for advanced colon cancer patients. Targeted therapy for colon cancer mainly includes anti-angiogenic therapy, EGFR receptor inhibitors, and multi-targeted kinase inhibitors. The combination of FORFOX with cetuximab can extend the overall survival of patients compared to chemotherapy alone for K-ras wild-type colon cancer. The more hotly researched multi-targeted kinase inhibitors now include regefenib and furoquinitinib. Regefenib can treat advanced colorectal cancer and colon cancer, and can prolong the overall survival of patients, as well as the progression-free survival. In addition, furoquitinib, a new drug with our own intellectual property rights, can prolong the overall survival of patients with advanced colorectal cancer.
