Angelica sinensis and Polygonum Multiflorum

Angelica sinensis and He Shouwu are both blood tonic, Angelica sinensis has the effect of tonifying blood, regulating menstruation, relieving pain, moistening the bowels and laxative; raw He Shouwu has the effect of detoxification, eliminating carbuncle, intercepting malaria, moistening the bowels and laxative, and the system of He Shouwu can tonify the liver and kidney, benefit the essence and blood, make the beard and hair, strengthen the tendons and bones and transform the turbid into lipid lowering (clean up the body’s turbid matter and reduce the body’s excess fat).
Angelica glyptostroboides is sweet, warm and moist, long for blood tonic, is the holy medicine of blood tonic, can treat blood deficiency, dizziness and palpitations; Angelica long for blood stagnation pain, is the gynecological blood tonic blood, menstruation pain of the key drugs; Angelica can disperse cold pain, with the treatment of blood deficiency, blood stasis and cold coagulation of the abdominal pain; but also can be supplemented to lubricate the intestines and laxative, with the treatment of blood deficiency and intestinal dryness and constipation.
It should be noted that it should not be taken by those who are full of dampness (too much dampness leading to fullness and discomfort in the spleen and stomach) and those who have loose stools.
Raw He Shou Wu has the efficacy of detoxification, elimination of carbuncle, interception of malaria, and can also moisten the intestines and pass stools, and can be used for tuberculosis sores and carbuncles, scrofula (mainly refers to the cervical lymph nodes tuberculosis), rashes and itching, prolonged malaria and constipation of dry intestines.
He Shou Wu is good at tonifying the liver and kidney, benefiting the essence and blood, making the beard and hair black, strengthening the tendons and bones, and also astringent, which can treat blood deficiency and atrophy, dizziness and tinnitus, premature whitening of the beard and hair, lumbar and knee soreness and weakness, numbness of the limbs, and disintegration (excessive menstruation or more than a few drops) and hypoglutemia; it can also dissolve turbidities and lower lipids, and is used in the treatment of hyperlipidaemia.
It should be noted that Angelica sinensis is not suitable for those who have dampness in the middle and fullness, loose stools and diarrhea, and He Shou Wu may have the risk of causing liver damage, and should not be taken for a long period of time and in large quantities, so it is recommended to follow the doctor’s instructions for medication and treatment.
