Overview of gallbladder polypoid lesions
Gallbladder polypoid lesion is the name of morphology, which refers to all non-calculous lesions of the gallbladder wall that grow polypoidly into the lumen, which can be classified as benign and malignant lesions, but more often than not are non-neoplastic lesions. Generally, the symptoms are mild or even asymptomatic, and are mostly found during ultrasound examination of the gallbladder. Very few patients have epigastric discomfort, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, which may be accompanied by abdominal pain, and may also cause jaundice, cholecystitis, biliary hemorrhage, pancreatitis and so on. Nursing care for patients with polypoid lesions of the gallbladder can alleviate their discomfort and help in the treatment of the disease and improve the prognosis.
