Is the nerve a tendon?

Nerves are not tendons, and there is a clear difference between them. A nerve is a bundle of nerve fibers within the human nervous system, which contains sensory, motor and mixed nerves, as well as peripheral and central nerve centers. The central nerve also includes the human brain and spinal cord, and the peripheral nerve has nuclei and structures below the nuclei. The main function of the nerves is to conduct nerve impulses and to govern the sensation and movement of the body, the activity of smooth muscles, heart muscles and glands, and the sense of taste. Tendons refer to the ligaments attached to tendons or bones, which are compact connective tissues that contract muscles, move joints, and hold them in place. Nerves and tendons are distributed in different parts of the body. Nerves are mainly distributed in the muscles, while tendons do not have nerve distribution, muscle contraction and joint movement need to be completed through the innervation of nerves.
