Cervical disc degeneration is not serious. The reason why it is caused is that it is triggered by increasing accumulative strain injury with age and in daily life. This leads to a gradual decrease in the quality of the cervical disc and a decrease in the water content of the cervical disc, including a gradual decrease in the protein content of the cervical disc, making the resistance of the cervical disc to pressure gradually decrease. However, simple cervical disc degeneration is not a disease, but only a transitional change in the cervical disc manifesting itself as we age. Therefore, it is not a disease at all and is not serious until the cervical discs are herniated.
