Formulas for treating kidney qi deficiency include Jin Gui Ren Qi Pill and Jin Liao Gu Jing Wan.
In the formula, Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata warms the yang and tonifies the fire, and Radix Gui Zhi warms the yang, both of which serve as the monarch; Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata tonifies the kidney and fills the essence (replenishes the essence of the kidney), Rhizoma Dioscoreae Sinensis, Cornu Cervi Pantotrichum, tonifies the liver and spleen, and all three of them serve as the ministerial herbs, while Ze Xie Di Di, Poria, Poria, and Mudan Pei activate the Blood to remove blood stasis (promotes the operation of the blood and eliminates stagnation of blood within the body), all of them serve as adjuvants. The combination of these herbs warms the kidneys and assists yang (warming and tonifying the yang qi of the kidneys). It is not suitable for people with yin deficiency and fire exuberance (deficiency of yin and essence in the body, resulting in hyperactivity of deficiency fire). Adverse effects are not clear. 2. For spermatorrhea caused by deficiency of kidney qi, Jinliao Guoxingjin Pills can be used. The composition of Jinliao Guoxing Pill is Gorgon fruit, Sha Yuan Zi, oyster, lotus seed and other traditional Chinese medicines. This formula tonifies the kidney and astringes the essence. It can be used to treat lumbago and tinnitus, spermatorrhea and premature ejaculation, and lassitude (mental exhaustion and physical weakness). People with damp-heat underflow (dampness and heat evils invading the intestines, bladder, pubic area, lower limbs, etc.) should not use Jinliao Shujing Pill, the adverse effects of which are not yet known.
