The best time to check hormone 6

The best time for the Hormone 6 test is related to the patient’s gender and the purpose of the test. The test is usually performed on the 2nd-3rd day of menstruation for female patients, but for male patients or amenorrheic female patients, there is usually no special requirement for the time of the test. The 2nd-3rd day of menstruation in women belongs to the early follicular phase, and this phase is called basal sex hormone level. The best measurement of hormone 6 is usually done on the 3rd day of menstruation, which can reflect the functional status of the ovaries. In the case of amenorrhea, blood can be drawn at any time to check hormone six and the default is the luteal phase. In addition, for both men and women, sex hormone tests need to be performed on an empty stomach, and you need to rest on your own for 15-20 minutes before the blood is drawn to avoid strenuous exercise that may raise prolactin and affect the accuracy of the measurement results.
