The lack of appetite in summer may be due to physiological factors such as hot weather, or pathological factors such as gastrointestinal dysfunction, chronic gastritis, chronic cholecystitis. 1. Physiological factors: high temperature in summer will lead to intracranial vasodilatation, hypothalamus secretion of hormones will change, its hormones can inhibit the appetite center of the brain center, causing the phenomenon of decreased appetite. In addition, the summer temperature is high, the temperature is high when the body surface vasodilatation blood flow increases, while the gastrointestinal blood flow is relatively reduced, the gastrointestinal tract secretion of digestive juices is reduced and thus the appetite decreases. 2. Pathologic factors: (1) gastrointestinal dysfunction: for example, eating too much high-calorie food, food should not be digested, gastrointestinal dysfunction, the phenomenon of no appetite. (2) Chronic gastritis: when there is chronic gastritis, gastric acid secretion can be insufficient, and there will also be symptoms of loss of appetite. (3) Chronic cholecystitis: When there is chronic cholecystitis, bile will be excreted poorly, so that the digestive function of the gastrointestinal tract will be reduced, resulting in a lack of appetite. There may be other pathological factors (e.g. liver disease) that lead to loss of appetite in summer. If there is no improvement, it is recommended to go to the hospital for examination and treatment.
