The best initial treatment option for cardia incontinentia

Cardia achalasia belongs to the category of esophageal motility disorders. The main clinical manifestation is dysphagia, sometimes with vomiting, and often with wasting due to restricted diet. It is mostly diagnosed by esophagogram. In the previous treatment options there were drugs, balloon dilation, and surgery. By reading the recent literature, the best initial treatment for cardia incontinentia is recommended from the perspective of evidence-based medicine, in terms of symptom relief, control of post-treatment reflux, reduction of recurrence, and reduction of recurrent treatment, with a specific surgical approach recommending an abdominal incision with additional anti-reflux treatment. It is also largely consistent with our own experience.
