Early menstruation in women is commonly caused by the following reasons. The first one is caused by endocrine disorders, such as luteal insufficiency or premature atrophy of the corpus luteum, which leads to early menstruation with a cycle of less than 25 days and requires intervention and treatment. The second one is caused by submucosal fibroids. As submucosal fibroids grow into the uterine cavity, the endometrial area increases, affecting the contraction of the uterus and resulting in a shortened menstrual cycle. Thirdly, due to inflammation of the endometrium, shortened menstrual cycle and dripping menstruation may occur. Ultrasound examination is recommended and diagnostic scraping can be done if necessary.
