What are the symptoms of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy?

Some patients may be asymptomatic for a long time, while others may have sudden death as their first symptom. The most common symptoms are exertional dyspnoea and weakness, with some patients experiencing chest pain, palpitations and syncope.
