Postpartum dizziness cannot be ruled out as a result of physiological factors or pathological factors such as postural hypotension and anemia.
1. Physiological factors: pregnant women may be very emotional fluctuations in the birth process, excessive tension or fatigue resulting in a weaker body, some of the mothers may be dizziness in the postpartum phenomenon. This is a physiological phenomenon and does not need to worry too much.
2. Pathologic factors: including but not limited to the following.
(1) Postural hypotension: due to the increase of blood volume and the further expansion of blood vessels after delivery, pregnant women are very prone to postural hypotension. When they suddenly stand up while lying down or squatting, the blood will cause temporary ischemia and hypoxia of brain tissues due to gravity, and some of them may show the symptom of dizziness.
(2) anemia: pregnant women due to lack of nutrition after delivery, resulting in peripheral blood red blood cell volume is lower than the normal range, and thus unable to transport sufficient oxygen, some pregnant women may experience post-partum dizziness, accompanied by fatigue, dizziness, pale skin symptoms.
Postpartum dizziness requires prompt medical attention to identify the cause of the disease and to treat the symptoms.
