A 2-year-old baby can be excluded from leukemia by observing the symptoms, blood tests and bone marrow aspiration tests.
1. Observation of symptoms: you can first observe the clinical symptoms, such as the presence of anemia, infection, bleeding, fever, lymph node enlargement and other symptoms.
2. Routine blood test: Through routine blood test, if it is found that platelet decrease, hemoglobin concentration decreases, and the number of white blood cells increases abnormally, it may be leukemia.
3. Bone marrow aspiration examination: If a significant increase in naïve cells is found through bone marrow aspiration examination, the type can be determined through pathological classification and genetic testing. Bone marrow aspiration is the gold standard for diagnosing leukemia.
It is recommended that the child should go to the hospital for examination and treatment under the guidance of the doctor after identifying the cause of the abnormality.
