An oval-shaped gestational sac is not a problem, it just looks like an oval shape from one of the front of the ultrasound report picture. But in fact, you have to look at it in the context of the data in the report, that is, the length and width of the gestational sac. In fact, the gestational sac is not round, it is either similar to a circle or oval. The ultrasound shows an approximate figure and the shape of the sac may not be the same for each woman. The shape of the gestational sac does not affect the development of the embryo, as long as the embryo’s heartbeat and germ can be seen under the ultrasound at a later stage. If the ultrasound report shows that the gestational sac is irregular, the germ is visible and no heartbeat is heard or the germ is not visible for more than two months of pregnancy, it may be an abnormal gestational sac and there is a possibility of gestational sac blight or poor gestational sac development, the probability of which is very small.
