Dietary considerations for GERD

Among gastrointestinal diseases, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is becoming more and more common and is easily recurring, mainly due to acid reflux, heartburn, and burning pain behind the sternum. The author has observed for many years that the reason for the recurrence of GERD is that patients are not informed of the dietary considerations for this disease. Gastroesophageal reflux disease caused by acid reflux heartburn is mainly caused by excessive gastric acid, so in the normal diet, especially to eat less acid-producing food, such as Beijing people love to eat sweets, and sour food, dead noodles made of food, such as dumplings (of course, on New Year’s Day eat a little less, cooked a little can still eat appropriate), especially pay attention to the stick noodles porridge, too acidic in terms of fruit, too The fruit is too sour, too sweet eat less, and for patients with gastric disease fruit try to eat after meals, eat less at night. Of course, if you suffer from GERD in addition to the usual attention to diet, you also need appropriate acid-suppressing medication, or with the regulation of Chinese medicine prescriptions. Otherwise, it is easy to cause damage to the mucosa of the stomach and esophagus.
