How to tell if you have heart failure after a heart attack

Heart attack is also known as myocardial infarction, heart failure is also known as heart failure, myocardial infarction after the emergence of left heart failure and right heart failure symptoms, to be able to determine whether the heart failure.
Severe myocardial infarction and the lack of timely medical care may develop into heart failure, patients with generalized weakness, shortness of breath and sitting breathing, coughing pink foamy sputum, and other symptoms to suspect the occurrence of acute left heart failure.
After myocardial infarction, patients with symptoms such as jugular venous distension (the engorged external jugular vein can be seen above the clavicle in semi-recumbent or sitting position), hepatic jugular venous reflux sign (jugular venous filling is more pronounced when the enlarged liver is pressed), loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, abdominal distension, low urine output, and edema, etc, are considered to be right heart failure.
Through the cardiac ultrasound examination, mainly ejection fraction and diastolic function examination, the ejection fraction is less than 50%, considering the emergence of cardiac insufficiency, diastolic function reduction suggests the possible existence of diastolic heart failure. When the BNP (B-type urinary natriuretic peptide) value reaches 300pg/ml, heart failure is considered.
Patients with myocardial infarction are advised to go to a regular hospital for treatment and check for heart failure.
