Effects of eating chili peppers on the baby while breastfeeding

Eating occasional small amounts of chili peppers during breastfeeding will have no effect on the baby. Eating large amounts of chili peppers for a long period of time may cause effects, such as affecting growth and development, skin allergies, and gastrointestinal discomfort. During breastfeeding, women are advised not to eat stimulating and spicy foods.
