Dietary recipes after gastrointestinal surgery

Early after gastrointestinal surgery, that is, after anal resumption of gas and defecation, advocate low-fat, high-protein soft food, and avoid eating greasy, spicy and irritating food, so as not to aggravate the burden on the gastrointestinal tract. As gastrointestinal surgery requires reconstruction of the digestive tract and the presence of anastomosis, avoid eating too dry and hard food for about one month after surgery. Therefore, after gastrointestinal surgery, the main food should be fluid or semi-fluid in the early stage, such as thin rice, millet porridge, and can gradually transition to fluffy rice in the later stage. For vegetables, choose all kinds of fresh vegetables, but they must be boiled to avoid too dry and hard to affect the absorption of the digestive tract. Nutritionally, high protein, low fat foods such as fish, shrimp, avoid too much oil meat food such as braised meat.
