Is it useful to prevent and treat perianal abscess early?

Perianal abscess is an acute purulent infection that occurs around the anorectum. Physical fatigue or weakness, decreased resistance and poor diet are the main causes of the infection. Patients with leukemia, Crohn’s disease, tuberculosis, and diabetes are prone to complicate perianal abscesses. Many patients have irregular life, lack of sleep, overexertion, or excessive consumption of seafood, spicy food, meat, etc. before the onset of the disease. The main symptom of perianal abscess is pain in the anus. This pain is persistent and not related to stool, but usually starts with a small hard lump or mass around the anus, followed by increased pain, redness, swelling, heat, swelling, restlessness, sleeplessness, constipation, poor urination and other rectal irritation symptoms. It is followed by general discomfort, mental fatigue and weakness, elevated body temperature, loss of appetite and other symptoms of systemic toxicity, which can be life-threatening in serious cases. Generally, abscesses can be formed in about 1 week, and soft, painful, fluctuating swellings can be felt around the anus, and pus can be extracted by puncturing with a syringe. If the pain will be relieved or disappear after self-rupture or incision to drain the pus, the body temperature will drop and the general condition will improve. However, the wound with pus does not heal easily or temporarily heals and then recurs with pus, which does not heal over time and develops into an anal fistula. Perianal abscess and anal fistula are two stages of one disease, and anal fistula is the sequelae of a broken perianal abscess. One end of the fistula leads to the foci of infection in the anal sinus and anal glands within the anal canal (called the internal port), and the other end leads to the skin around the anus (called the external port. Because the main symptom is that the sore on the skin around the anus is constantly flowing pus and pus and blood outward, just like a broken house often leaking water, so it is called “leakage” by the folk. Prevention Prevention is the best strategy for treating perianal abscess, pay more attention to the details of life in general and be highly alert to perianal abscess: 1. actively exercise, enhance physical fitness, improve blood circulation and strengthen local resistance to disease; 2. keep the anus clean, change underwear regularly and clean the anus after defecation; 3. actively prevent and treat other anal diseases, such as anal cryptitis and anal papillitis, to avoid perianal abscess and anal fistula; 4. If not treated in time, it can cause other diseases with clinical manifestation of perianal abscess, such as ulcerative colitis and intestinal tuberculosis; 5. Avoid sitting for a long time; 6. Prevent constipation and diarrhea; 7. Once perianal abscess and anal fistula occur, they should be treated early to prevent their development and deterioration. Perianal abscess can be secondary to anal fistula, and there is a possibility of cancer if left untreated or mistreated for many years, and perianal abscess is different from infections in other parts of the body, once it occurs, it cannot heal itself, and conservative treatment can only relieve the symptoms, so it must be treated by surgery, otherwise perianal abscess is very harmful. If perianal abscess misses the best time for treatment, the infection foci are likely to transfer to the surrounding interstices and form abscesses of larger scope, and the pus may develop from the subcutaneous to the sciatic rectal fossa, from the affected side to the opposite side through the tissue interstices, and then enter the anus between the internal and external sphincters, and penetrate upward into the pelvic cavity through the levator muscle to form peritonitis, or erode into the adjacent tissues and organs such as rectum, bladder, vagina, urethra, etc. to form Many types of complex anal fistulas. Timely treatment of perianal abscess can, firstly, reduce pain; secondly, prevent the development of complex anal fistulae in the surrounding area; thirdly, prevent the anal sphincter from being damaged and affecting anal function; fourthly, prevent the infection from spreading to the whole body and causing sepsis, toxemia, septicemia and endangering life. Patients with perianal abscess are advised to eat light and easily digestible food. Avoid eating spicy and irritating foods. Because improper diet can lead to dry stool, dry and hard stool discharge can tear the anal flap and abrade the anal skin and mucous membrane, and bacteria can easily enter the perianal tissue from the wound to cause infection to form abscess, so usually eat more food containing more fiber, such as sweet potato, celery, eggplant, banana, corn, etc. Preventing constipation with dietary adjustments and keeping the bowels open will be beneficial to the recovery of the disease. Precautions for postoperative anal diseases 1. 30 minutes of meditation after surgery to play a role in compression and hemostasis to prevent bleeding from the surgical opening; 2. Drink more water after surgery to facilitate the early discharge of urine and prevent urinary retention; 3. Blue urine within 3 days after surgery is caused by drugs and has no adverse consequences and can disappear on its own; a low residue diet should be entered within 3 days after surgery, and a high-fiber diet and appropriate activities should be entered thereafter to promote intestinal peristalsis; 4. 4. some anal diseases should take oral anti-inflammatory drugs for 1 week or intravenous antibiotics for 3-5 days after surgery; 5. warm saline bath after each bowel movement and change of medication at the surgical opening; 6. avoid sexual intercourse and cycling before the surgical opening is healed; 7. 7-12 days after surgery is the recovery period, avoid constipation, diarrhea and activities that increase abdominal pressure; 8. 21 days is the average healing time of the surgical opening; 9. regular re-examinations (3-5 days before healing) 1.Reasonable tonic can improve the body’s immune function, certain tonic products such as ginseng, white fungus, coix seeds, red dates, etc. have direct or indirect tonic and strengthening effect; 2.In cooking, the amount of oil used can be similar to normal people, should not increase. At the same time, we should pay attention to the color, aroma and taste of dishes, more steam, boiling, stewing and other cooking methods, as little as possible to eat fried food; 3, more natural and wild food, less synthetic and refined food; 4, the diet should be scientific, not partial food, not taboo, meat and vegetables, fine mixed food, the more varieties of food each day, the more you can get a variety of nutrients. 5, to exclude toxins, do not eat sour stains (excluding sugar and vinegar flavor), mold belt, smoke, coloring, flavoring, strong alcohol.
