Eyes over 900 degrees are more serious.
Myopia is categorized as mild, moderate, or high, and when the eye is greater than 600 degrees, it is referred to as high myopia. Myopia is also categorized as simple myopia and pathologic myopia, with 600 degrees as the cut-off value.
When the myopia is lower than 600 degrees, it is usually simple myopia, and most of the pathological changes will not occur; while when the myopia is greater than 600 degrees, it is pathologic myopia, and the patient may have different degrees of fundus pathology, such as retinal detachment, mosquito, open-angle glaucoma, etc. Therefore, an eye of more than 900 degrees belongs to the relatively high myopia category. Therefore, the eye more than 900 degrees belongs to a more serious situation.
When the patient’s eye degree is more than 900 degrees, it is recommended to go to the hospital for relevant examination and treatment in time to avoid delaying the condition.
