Can a grade 3-4 breast cyst heal on its own?

Breast cysts of grade 3~4 are usually not self-healing. Breast cysts are fluid-filled, round or oval cystic masses with clear edges in the breast. grade 3~4 breast cysts have relatively large diameters and a certain probability of malignancy, and generally do not heal on their own, so they need to go to the hospital in a timely manner to receive targeted treatment from the doctor. For grade 3~4 breast cysts, if the cysts are large, they need to be treated with ultrasound-guided aspiration, which utilizes puncture to extract the cystic fluid. Most patients can be cured with a single aspiration. A small percentage of patients may require 2 to 3 aspirations. If there are recurrent or progressively enlarging breast cysts, further evaluation by a physician is required before targeted treatment can be performed.
