Three major health care measures to optimize the development of preterm infants: 1. Feeding guidance: After the discharge of preterm infants, according to their individual growth and nutritional status, develop a personalized feeding guidance program to achieve the “ideal catch-up growth”. 2. Early development guidance: In early infancy, i.e. the fastest growing stage of brain development, there is great plastic ability. Premature infants have brain damage due to various reasons, and through rich environmental stimulation and reasonable training, it is entirely possible for the damaged brain to obtain the best compensatory ability. 3.Growth and developmental monitoring: including the growth of movement, vision, hearing, physical growth, etc. Through monitoring, problems in the development process can be found in time, and targeted measures can be taken to time interventions so that the growth trajectory of preterm infants can gradually return to normal. In order to provide systematic health care for the optimal development of preterm babies, Jinan Children’s Health Center has set up the “Home for the optimal development of preterm babies” to provide parents of preterm babies with comprehensive scientific parenting guidance, establish systematic health care files for children, and track the growth trajectory of preterm babies throughout the process.
