Whether lung metastasis will occur one month after breast cancer surgery is related to the stage of breast cancer. Generally, the chance of metastasis is low in the early stage of breast cancer, and the possibility of metastasis is higher in patients with middle and late stage.
1. Early stage breast cancer: Early stage breast cancer patients have a lower possibility of metastasis after radical surgery.
2. Middle and late stage breast cancer: middle and late stage breast cancer patients usually have peripheral lymph node metastasis, middle stage breast cancer patients have the possibility to be cured by surgery; late stage often cannot be cured by surgery, and the possibility of metastasis after surgery is also relatively high, and usually combined with radiotherapy, chemotherapy and other ways to prevent the metastasis of the cancer cells to prolong the survival time of the patients.
The patient’s own physical condition and sensitivity to radiotherapy and chemotherapy drugs also have a certain impact on the metastasis of breast cancer after surgery; breast cancer patients should consult the doctor immediately if they feel uncomfortable after surgery and actively cooperate with the doctor’s treatment.
