There is no such thing as the fastest way to lower creatinine with astragalus. Kidney failure caused by insufficient creatinine clearance belongs to the category of “Guan Ge” and “Drowning Poison” in Chinese medicine. Astragalus has the effect of replenishing qi and inducing water retention, which can be combined with other medicines to alleviate the patient’s symptoms such as tiredness and fatigue, shortness of urine, swelling and so on.
Spleen and kidney yang deficiency, dampness and turbidity within the manifestation of short urine, color clear, or even urinary closure, face obscure stagnation, cold (cold body) cold limbs, fatigue (mental exhaustion, physical weakness), swelling below the waist, poor appetite, abdominal distension, generalized nausea and vomiting, loose stools. Treatment with Qi Ju Di Huang Wan combined with Antelope and Hook Teng Tang.
If the kidney qi is weakened and the evil is trapped in the pericardium, the manifestations are anuria or oliguria, swelling of the whole body, whiteness of the face and darkness of the lips, coldness of the limbs (the limbs are cold, even to the elbows and the knees and above), foul-smelling urine in the mouth, and dizziness of the consciousness. Treatment: ginseng and sorrel soup combined with suhexiang pills, followed by purging phlegm soup.
