X-ray manifestation of herniated disc

For the X-ray manifestation of lumbar disc herniation, usually for patients with disc herniation, it will show a significant narrowing of the intervertebral space and the possibility of disc herniation is considered. For patients with lumbar disc herniation, local CT and MRI are also needed; CT can clarify the size of the disc herniation and whether there is stenosis in the spinal canal; MRI can clarify the severity of the spinal nerve compression and can make a clear diagnosis. For patients with lumbar disc herniation, the symptoms are usually mainly lumbar pain, and when there is pressure on the spinal nerve roots and cauda equina, pain, numbness, weakness of one or both lower limbs, and even abnormal urination and defecation may occur.
