Drinking warm menstruation soup is generally not recommended during pregnancy to avoid adverse effects on the fetus.
Warming Menstruation Soup is composed of Cornus Officinalis, Angelica Sinensis, Radix et Rhizoma Ginseng, Radix Paeoniae Alba, and Cinnamon Branches, etc. It is effective in warming the menstruation, dispersing cold, and nourishing blood to dispel stasis.
Warming Menstruation Tang is used to treat deficiency and coldness of the channels (deficiency of yang qi that cannot warm the channels) and stagnation of blood stasis. Symptoms include more than one leakage of blood, dark and lumpy blood, poor dribbling, or menstruation overrunning or delayed, or more than one month, or menstruation stopping and not arriving, with urgency in the abdomen and fullness in the abdomen. It is also used to treat women with cold uterus who have not been able to conceive for a long time.
Do not use Wen Jing Tang if the menstrual disorders are caused by solid heat or without internal obstruction of Blood stasis, and do not consume cold and raw food during the period of taking the medicine.
