To perform an ultrasound examination of the gallbladder, the patient can be placed flat on the examination bed, exposing the right upper abdomen, and the ultrasound probe is placed on the patient’s right upper abdomen and scanned in the liver region. If the gallbladder is shown, the size of the gallbladder, the long diameter and the anterior-posterior diameter of the gallbladder are measured. When observing the gallbladder, it is important to observe whether the gallbladder wall is smooth and whether there is thickening, and to carefully observe the bottom of the gallbladder and the neck of the gallbladder. If there are small stones in the neck of the gallbladder or the bottom of the gallbladder, they will move with the change of position, so that they can be clearly displayed.
