If patients undergo cholecystectomy because of acute cholecystitis, the following clinical symptoms may be associated with the surgery: i. Increased number of diarrhea, the gallbladder is an important organ for storing bile in human body, after the gallbladder is removed the bile secreted by the liver has no place to be stored and is continuously discharged into the intestine, which will cause the patient’s gastrointestinal tract function peristalsis to speed up and mild diarrhea symptoms to appear. Second, indigestion, abdominal pain and bloating, especially after the patient eats more fatty food and overfull diet, the patient’s indigestion symptoms will be more obvious, which is due to the lack of extra bile in the body discharged into the intestine to help the body digest food. Most of the above clinical symptoms can be gradually relieved and improved in 2-3 months after surgery, because the body has a strong compensatory ability, and some of the bile ducts are dilated or the mucous membrane of small intestine is changed, so that it can adapt to the condition without gallbladder.
