Cardiovascular disease prevention

  According to the results of China’s Fourth Population Nutrition and Health Survey, there are currently 160 million people with hypertension, 160 million people with dyslipidemia, 40 million people with diabetes, 40 million people with low glucose tolerance, 60 million people with obesity, 200 million people with overweight, 330 million people with smoking, and 900 million people with passive smoking among people over 18 years of age in China — These factors inevitably lead to an epidemic of atherosclerotic cardiovascular events, which include sudden death, myocardial infarction, stroke and other serious fatal and disabling diseases. Therefore, enhancing the identification and screening of people at high risk for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and adopting effective strategies for their disease prevention are major medical and social issues that need to be further addressed.  Cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases are the most common and health-threatening diseases among middle-aged and elderly people. The common cardiovascular diseases include hypertension, coronary heart disease, arrhythmia, myocardial infarction, and sudden cardiac death. Cerebrovascular disease is commonly known as stroke, which includes cerebral infarction transient ischemic attack, cerebral hemorrhage, subarachnoid hemorrhage, etc. The common cause of cerebrovascular disease is mostly atherosclerosis. Heart disease can cause stroke, and stroke can also be a precursor sign of heart disease. These diseases have no symptoms in the early stage, so prevention must be started at a young age to detect and treat them as early as possible to avoid aggravation. Cardiovascular disease can occur in all seasons, with a high incidence in winter and summer. The key to controlling the occurrence of cardiovascular disease is primary prevention, the main points of which are: 1, life should be regular, to ensure a good sleep. Combine work and rest, exercise according to physical and mental conditions, aerobic exercise for not less than 30 minutes a day. Keep urine and stool open.  2, the diet should be balanced and diverse. Rice and noodles mixed grains should be eaten, but also appropriate to eat more fresh vegetables and fruits, but also to eat fish, lean meat, eggs (4-7 per week), milk, soy products, garlic, vinegar, etc.. Eat less animal oil, sugar, cream and coffee. Salt should be reduced to 5 grams per day. Be sure to control your weight. Promote drinking a glass of warm boiled water early in the morning every day. Not less than six glasses of water a day.  3, balanced psychology, maintain optimism. Correctly treat various stressful events (mental or environmental stimuli), moderation of the seven emotions (joy, anger, worry, thought, fear, fear, sadness). Family and colleagues to care for each other, not to be gripped by personal gains and losses. Less anger, no anger, learn to reduce stress and relaxed spirit. People with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease should take 5 to 10mg of cardiac pain or 0.6mg of nitroglycerin tablets orally before attending agitated meetings, as appropriate. 4, high blood pressure is the main culprit of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease. 20 years of age or older, regular blood pressure checks (at least 2 times a year), blood pressure equal to or more than 140/90 mm Hg, according to the doctor’s opinion and regular review, not careless.  5. Smoking is strictly forbidden, and alcohol should be consumed sparingly. Low white wine not more than half a tael per day, wine 100-150 ml per day, beer not more than 300 ml per day. Middle-aged and young people had better not drink alcohol, can often drink light tea.  6, people over 30 years of age, annual electrocardiogram examination, regular blood sugar, blood lipids, urine and fundus examination, found diabetes and high blood lipids should be dealt with according to medical advice, but also to do blood viscosity and other checks.  7, according to the climate change to increase or decrease clothing, winter attention to prevent cold, summer heat, to avoid respiratory infections.  8, especially in the morning and at night, pay attention to the symptoms of chest tightness, breath-holding, chest pain, panic, abnormal pulse, throat and chest obstruction, etc. Once there are symptoms of transient limb immobility, numbness, inability to speak, vertigo, syncope, headache, vomiting, drowsiness, blindness in one or both eyes, double vision, unsteady walking, etc., you should seek medical attention as soon as possible.
