Estimated glomerular filtration rate 145 ml/min is serious

A glomerular filtration rate of 145 ml/min is slightly higher than normal, but usually is not serious.
Normal values for glomerular filtration rate are 80-120 ml/min. In normal individuals, the glomerular filtration rate is usually greater than 90 ml/min and does not usually exceed 130 ml/min.

Most of the estimation formulas have large errors when the glomerular filtration rate is greater than 90 ml/min, and it is easy to overestimate the glomerular filtration rate. If the glomerular filtration rate is estimated at 145ml/min, it is usually not serious and requires regular review.
However, if the glomerular filtration rate of 145ml/min is obtained by renal dynamic imaging, it may be the early stage of diabetic nephropathy, and it is necessary to improve the urinary microalbumin/creatinine, urine protein quantification and other tests to evaluate the condition.
