There are four versions of Sanxiandan, namely, “Medical Formulas Jiejie”, “Ten Thousand Diseases”, “Zhou Shenzhai’s Remaining Book” and “Taiping Huimin Hejian Bureaux Formula”, with different formulas.
1. Sanxiantan (Medical Formulas Collection and Interpretation) is composed of Nansingqu, Semixiaqu, and Xiangshu, which is mainly used for the treatment of gas stagnation in the epigastric region and unfavorable phlegm and salivation, and its adverse effects and contraindications are still unclear.
2. The formula of Sanxian Dan (Recovery of All Diseases) is simmered white letter, Ba Dou and yellow wax, which is mainly used for the treatment of heartache to danger, and the adverse effects and contraindications are not clear.
3. The formula of Sanxian Dan (Zhou Shen Zhai Zhi Shu) consists of Chuanxiong Xiong (Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong), Fennel (Fennel) and Cangzhu (Cangzhu), which is mainly used for the treatment of lumbago, with adverse effects and contraindications not yet known.
4. Sanxian Dan “Taiping Huimin Hejiaobu Fang” is composed of Chuanxiong, fennel, Cangzhu, is mainly used for the treatment of kidney meridian coldness, kidney failure, strength and timidity, loss of vital energy, darkness of the eyes, deafness, etc., adverse effects, contraindications are not clear.
