How can I get my child to have a good sleep?

Nowadays, there are few cases of children who do not get enough sleep or have poor sleep quality, which should be given enough attention. First of all, we should correct some misconceptions, such as the heavy academic burden, some parents and teachers let students to reduce sleep in exchange for study time, which is actually like pulling up the seedlings to help grow, more losses than gains. Children who do not sleep well have difficulty concentrating on their studies, and are inefficient and ineffective. To ensure enough sleep, in principle, ensure that elementary school students have more than 9 hours of sleep per day, middle school students 9 hours of sleep, and high school students 8 hours of sleep. Lower elementary school students should go to bed at 9:00 every night, the upper grades can be appropriately delayed, but do not exceed 10:00, the human biological clock at 10:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. there is a low tide, when the human body temperature, breathing, pulse and general state are at the lowest point of the day, this time in a sleep state is the best choice to maintain health. Insufficient sleep time at night can make up for a nap. To sleep on time, the biological clock of the human body should not be disrupted, otherwise it will affect health and learning as well. Families should have the right atmosphere, do not play with computers before bedtime, do not watch TV, have a quiet environment, do not put these modern devices in the children’s room, and do not sleep with the lights on. Do not listen to claims such as taking supplements can reduce sleep, which is equally unfeasible. For psychological stress affecting sleep, you should adjust your mind in time and consult a psychologist or doctor if necessary. Do not eat much before bedtime, avoid tea and coffee and other stimulant drinks, a glass of hot milk will help you sleep; hot water to wash your feet is also beneficial to sleep.
