The abdominal examination includes upper abdomen, middle abdomen and lower abdomen. CT examination and MRI examination should be dialectically viewed in the following aspects: 1. examination time: CT examination of the whole abdomen, the scanning time is shorter, about 10 minutes can be completed; MRI examination of the whole abdomen, at least 40-50 minutes are needed; 2. examination process: during MRI examination, the patient is required to brake completely, and its examination experience is poor, but there are more fixed organs in the abdomen including liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, kidney, ureter, as well as uterus, prostate, bladder, rectum, etc., the accuracy of MRI examination is higher; when the patient suffers from intestinal diseases, it is impossible to suspend the peristalsis of the intestine by artificial means, at this time, CT examination should be preferred.
