Lindane cream side effects

Lindane cream is mainly indicated for the treatment of scabies and pubic lice. It may produce local irritation after use, which will subside after a few days, and occasional dizziness may occur after rubbing the drug, which will disappear after 1-2 days. Long-term use of large amounts of this drug may also produce large toxic effects on the central nervous system due to absorption through the skin, such as seizures, and should be used with caution by patients with a history of epilepsy. There is also the possibility of hives, so be careful when using the drug, and make sure not to wash with hot water and soap before rubbing, which may increase the absorption of the drug, and avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. If allergic symptoms or central nervous system side effects occur during administration, the drug should be discontinued immediately. The use of this drug should be prohibited for pregnant women, and if breastfeeding women use this drug, they should stop using it for four days before breastfeeding.
