The whole process of prostate endoscopy mainly includes position placement, sterilization, insertion of endoscope, and observation. During prostate endoscopy, the patient takes the lithotomy position, i.e., the patient lies flat with legs flexed and separated. The external urethral orifice is first disinfected and local anesthesia is administered, then the penis is lifted and the endoscope is inserted, with a gentle forward push during insertion, until the endoscope reaches the bladder. The bladder wall is observed first, and then the lens is pushed backward in order to observe whether the lobes of the prostate protrude into the bladder and press the urethra. Prostate endoscopy can be used to observe the condition of prostate enlargement, and at the same time can understand the pathological changes of the bladder and urethra, so this test can be used as a basis for diagnosis of prostate enlargement, and choose the appropriate treatment.
