Lung cancer has several pestle fingers

It is not always possible to have several pestle fingers in lung cancer. Some lung cancers do not have pestle fingers, while others will have one or even more pestle fingers. The presence of pestle fingers in lung cancer causes a paraneoplastic syndrome of the skeletal system due to the bioactive substances produced by lung cancer tumor cells. Pestle fingers can occur in early, middle and late stages of lung cancer, and the presence of pestle fingers does not mean that lung cancer is advanced. The pain of pestle finger associated with lung cancer is more obvious. After the tumor is removed or treated with radiotherapy or chemotherapy, the pain will be significantly improved after the tumor shrinks. In addition to pestle finger, some lung cancers may also develop hypertrophic osteoarthropathy.
