2. Periodontal abscess: Most of them are caused by bacterial infections that result in the resorption of the alveolar bone around the teeth to form periodontal bands, which can also lead to oral swelling and pain.
Cephalosporin, penicillin and other anti-infective treatment can be used intravenously; at the same time, gingival cleaning, subgingival scraping and surgical treatments are carried out to remove the bacteria in the periodontal pockets. If there is abscess formation, incision and drainage are required.
3. Viral infections: for example, hand, foot and mouth disease caused by enterovirus infection and oral herpes caused by herpes simplex virus infection may lead to oral ulcers, swelling and pain and other symptoms.
Mainly symptomatic treatment, oral antiviral drugs, such as acyclovir, vasiclovir and so on. If the pain is obvious, you can take ibuprofen, acetaminophen and other drugs.
