Psychotic delusional disorder is not a professional diagnostic term and may refer to hallucinatory delusion syndrome or delusional disorder. Hallucinatory delusion syndrome is a type of syndrome in which hallucinations and delusions caused by hallucinations are the main manifestations, which can be seen in schizophrenia, acute stress reaction, alcoholism, etc. Treatment mainly involves the application of antipsychotic drugs to relieve hallucinations and delusions, commonly used are olanzapine, quetiapine, risperidone, aripiprazole, haloperidol, sulpiride, etc. Delusional disorders are a group of disorders in which persistent, fixed delusions are the main symptom, including psychiatric disorders and organic disorders, psychiatric disorders such as paranoid psychosis and psychogenic delusional episodes, and organic disorders such as organic brain disorders and epilepsy. In addition to treating the cause, antipsychotic drugs are also applied to alleviate delusions, but may not be as effective as other functional mental disorders such as schizophrenia.
