Can chronic cholecystitis cause itchy skin?

Chronic cholecystitis is an abnormality of gallbladder function caused by repeated episodes of acute or subacute cholecystitis or long-standing gallbladder stones. Patients mostly present with abdominal pain and distension after eating greasy food, mainly in the upper abdomen, which may involve the back of the right shoulder.
Some patients may present with high fever, chills or jaundice, some with nausea and vomiting.Murphy’s sign is positive. Ultrasonography may show thickening of the gallbladder wall and impaired gallbladder emptying.
